Sculptural Bowl

Heavy, handbuilt bowl with thick rim and ash glaze throughout, fired in the kogama (small wood kiln) for one day. Very nice clay color on exterior and excellent ash glaze pooling inside the bowl and in the rim. This is a sculptural piece but would serve as functional pottery as well.
